Students and faculty from leading institutions such as Amity University, DTU, and ITI actively participated, making the event a success. Laghu Udyog Bharati's pivotal role in connecting academia and industry highlighted the immense benefits of apprenticeship programs, benefiting both students and industries. Laghu Udyog Bharti - Moradabad Meets with the Honorable Chief Minister of UP. Team had the golden opportunity to meet with the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to discuss some of the pressing issues facing the Moradabad industry. 1. Water Tax: Proposed that it should only apply to those using Nigam water. 2. Industrial Property Tax: Requested to reduce the tax on industrial buildings within Nagar Nigam to match residential rates, similar to practices in Nagar Panchayat and Nagar Palika. 3. House Tax Calculation: Suggested that tax on different floors should reflect usage and rental value. 4. FAR for Industrial Land: As agricultural land is being converted for industrial use, we urged an increase in the FAR from 1.25 to 4 to maximize the usable area.
