From ideas to award-winning innovative projects...     We are happy to announce that our students from Model School, Sanand, have secured the top three prizes in 3 different categories at the Taluka-level of the Bal Vigyan Pradarshni. ✨     The event held on September 30th in Ahmedabad hosted 70 projects in 5 different categories oriented towards finding innovative solutions for better future. National Champions in Vigyan Jyoti! 🎉 We are thrilled and proud to announce that Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Hathijan has emerged victorious in the Vigyan Jyoti program, securing the top spot at the national level! Our students’ exceptional problem-solving skills and innovative approaches have set a new standard for excellence. 🏆     The Vigyan Jyoti program, initiated by the Department of Science & Technology, aims to empower young women in STEM fields. Amidst the stiff competition from over 100 students across Gujarat and Maharashtra, one of our students, Ms. Jiya Panchal, a Grade 12 Science student, showcased her remarkable ingenuity in addressing waterlogging challenges in Ahmedabad. Her project focused on developing a sustainable, cost-effective method to address the recurring problem of urban waterlogging, which not only disrupts daily life but also causes extensive damage to infrastructure.     Her innovative approach involved creating an intelligent water management system that integrated sensors to monitor water levels, combined with a real-time drainage control mechanism. This system efficiently diverted excess rainwater to reservoirs, reducing flooding risks and preserving water for future use.     Our school's success is greatly supported by our state-of-the-art STEM lab, generously backed by the Micron Foundation. This facility provides our students with invaluable hands-on experience, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems. The lab's advanced equipment and resources have been instrumental in nurturing our students' curiosity and enhancing their problem-solving skills, further contributing to their outstanding achievements in programs like Vigyan Jyoti. Congratulations to Our Bright Young Innovators!   We are thrilled to announce that two talented students from PM Shri Telangana Model School, Palamakula, clinched the 2nd Prize at the prestigious Bharat Tech League 2024, held at the á-hub of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.   In this competition, each team built a pick-and-place robot to complete eight tasks, earning one point per task. Harsha and Kiran, both in Class 9, showcased their incredible skills and creativity in the Robotics Zonal Round for Telangana.
