A variety of capsules and tablets can be processed at speeds of up to 2500 units per minute by high-speed strip packaging equipment. Strip packs, which contain numerous pills or tablets in one container, are manufactured using a specific form of packaging technology called a strip packing machine. The strip packing machine takes the pills or tablets and places them inside a lengthy roll of packaging material. Because it allows for exact and rapid dosing, patients like this type of packaging.
