An article by Ruslana Syvak, a participant in the online mentorship program, was reprinted by a foreign media outlet, marking her first experience of this kind in her journalism career 📝 Ruslana’s mentor in the program was Vitalii Nosach, a photojournalist at RBC-Ukraine. The photos featured in her article were taken following his advice. According to Ruslana, not all ideas could be realized, but she managed to capture a few successful shots, and Vitalii’s help with photo editing made them even better. 💁🏻♀️ «I now feel motivated to attend various rallies, events, and meetings to create impactful stories and share them abroad. It’s important to inform international audiences about how Ukrainians live during the war. Moreover, this experience inspired me to continue improving my skills», Ruslana shared. In her article, the journalist highlighted the aftermath of a Russian missile strike, which completely destroyed the rowing base of Ladyzhyn Youth Sports School #2. Together with her media team, Ruslana visited the site and prepared a report, which was later reprinted by the Indian outlet Mahabahu 🇮🇳 This media platform covers global challenges, including climate change, gender equality, and economic growth.
