Their visit was part of the Indo-Dutch eHealth initiative, aimed at enhancing digital health ecosystems across borders. Manipal-GoK Bioincubator thoroughly enjoyed hosting the students and research scholars from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal at our facility!!! Following the "Symposium on Scope of Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Pharmaceutical Sciences," the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal Faculty and Manipal-GoK Bioincubator Team organized the second phase of the event: a facility tour of the Manipal GOK Bioincubator-BioNEST. This tour included: A visit to the Wet Lab facility A tour of the Prototyping and Device Development Facility. We were truly inspired by their curiosity and passion for the field. Manipal Academy of Higher Education, in collaboration with the University of New Brunswick, Canada is organizing the "Global Technology Solutions-24-25 (GTS-24)" program for its student innovators. This program provides exposure to cutting-edge technology development platforms and teaches them how to structure their innovative ideas to turn them into viable global technology solutions. This flagship program of the Office of International Affairs and Collaborations MAHE, MANIPAL, implemented through Manipal-GoK Bioincubator & UNB’s J Herbert Smith Centre (JHSC) for Technology Management & Entrepreneurship of UNB from November 2024 to April 2025. GTS-24 is designed for 30 selected students of MAHE and 30 Students from UNB Canada, and students from both universities will form a joint team and will work together for 2 days every week (Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm) on problems that lead to Innovation, Technology Development, and Entrepreneurship. The program is only for the MAHE/UNB enrolled students of Undergraduate (2nd Semester to 7th semester) and for the students of First Year Postgraduate Programs. Manipal-GoK Bioincubator was delighted to be at the 4th edition of Mangaluru Technovanza 2024. Mangaluru Technovanza 2024, Karnataka's premier showcase of IT, GCC, AI, GIA, FinTech, AgriTech, emerging technologies and global business opportunities. Being present for the event will contribute to shaping the future of technology in our region. The event organised by Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) brought together industry leaders, start-up founders, students and other stakeholders to explore the technology and entrepreneurship landscape in coastal Karnataka. Sessions, panel discussions, keynote addresses, and startup exhibition helped highlight the aspirations of the people of the region to emerge as a technology hub of the future.
