We just wrapped up the last two with our 9th cohort of the #SHRBP #certification program, in partnership with FICCI Quality Forum. The sessions were filled with rich discussions, active participant engagement, and invaluable insights from our guest speakers, Rohit Shenoy from DXC Technology and Bhavna Batra (She/Her) from S&P Global. Participants dove deep into real-world case studies, explored strategic HR challenges, and learned practical solutions that they can directly apply to their organizations. The level of interaction and peer learning was outstanding, as everyone contributed their perspectives, making it a highly collaborative environment. As we now approach the close of the certification, we cannot highlight enough the importance of strengthening HR capability for sustainable success in the coming years. Do get in touch with us to know more. #LeadershipDevelopment #HRExcellence #IndustryInsights #PeerLearning #LearningAndDevelopment #ProfessionalGrowth #StrategicHR #MarchingSheep MarchingSheep Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers) Kunal S. We've got a new trend from Silicon Valley: #FounderMode. The essence of Founder Mode lies in a hands-on leadership style where founders engage with their teams, bypassing traditional hierarchies to foster innovation and creativity. However, the concept of Founder Mode has sparked considerable debate across social media. As more leaders weigh in the discussions around the benefits and pitfalls, many are questioning whether Founder Mode promotes essential engagement or simply leads to micromanagement. To dive deeper into this conversation, check out the full post: https://lnkd.in/gK8BPw7z At Marching Sheep, we believe in the importance of developing managers who can seamlessly shift between Founder Mode and Manager Mode, creating resilient organizations that can adapt and thrive. Understanding when to lead with passion and when to empower your team is key to sustainable success. #FounderMode #ManagerMode #Leadership #MarchingSheep #Innovation #makeadifference Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers) Kunal S. "It hurts to know that some people see me differently than I see myself; it makes me feel really alone." When someone is mislabeled, a fundamental part of their identity is ignored or misunderstood. It is crucial to honour the identities that people hold dear. Just as mislabeling someone’s nationality, or mispronouncing their name can diminish their sense of self, using the wrong pronouns can do the same. When we use the correct pronouns, we affirm a person’s identity and show respect for their journey. Adding your own pronouns when introducing yourself is a powerful show of support. It signals that you respect everyone’s identity, even if your pronouns seem obvious. At Marching Sheep, we make a conscious effort to listen, learn, and embrace each other’s identities. Happy pronouns day! #PronounsDay #DEI #LGBTQIA #Belonging #IdentityMatters #MakeADifference #Respectandequityforall

Today is Subho Bijoya, let's take a moment to understand the significance of this beautiful occasion. This is not just a festival; it’s a time for renewal, joy, and togetherness. Subho Bijoya marks the end of Durga Puja, a time when we honor the triumph of good over evil. It reminds us of the strength within us to overcome challenges and emerge victorious. The ten bad qualities associated with the festival—such as ego, greed, and jealousy—serve as reminders to strive for self-improvement. By acknowledging these traits within ourselves, we can work towards becoming better individuals, fostering a more positive environment around us. We at Marching Sheep believe in fostering a culture that embodies these values—resilience, unity, and positivity. As we gather with our loved ones, let’s embrace the spirit of gratitude and share our blessings. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues, friends, and family, and to spread joy in every corner of our lives. May this festive season bring you peace, happiness, and countless moments of joy! Wishing everyone a heartfelt Subho Bijoya! #MarchingSheep #SubhoBijoya #Diversity #Festival Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers) Kunal S. Krati Vyas Nandini Aggarwal Bhaskar Batri Ishu Chaudhary

Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is a festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil, symbolized by Lord Ram’s triumph over Ravan. This occasion serves as a powerful reminder of the values we can embody in our personal and professional lives. One key lesson from Dussehra is the importance of overcoming challenges. Just as Lord Rama faced numerous obstacles in life, we all encounter hurdles in our lives. For instance, when pursuing a significant goal, setbacks may arise. Instead of giving up, embracing perseverance can lead us to eventual success. Another vital aspect is the power of patience. The festival teaches us that patience is crucial for achieving our objectives. In stressful work environments, waiting for the right moment to act often yields better results than rushing into decisions. Dussehra also emphasizes the significance of teamwork. Lord Ram’s victory was made possible through collaboration with allies like Hanuman and the army. In our workplaces, fostering a collaborative environment enhances creativity and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, standing up for moral integrity is a central theme of Dussehra. Advocating for what is right builds trust and respect among colleagues and creates a positive workplace culture. Dussehra symbolizes new beginnings, making it an ideal time to set personal intentions and goals. Let’s carry forward the essence of Dussehra into our daily lives—embracing positivity, being resilient, and striving for excellence. Wishing everyone a meaningful Dussehra from Marching Sheep team! #Dussehra #Diversity #Diversityequityandinclusion #MarchingSheep Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers) Kunal S. On this International Girl Child Day, we pause to celebrate the incredible potential of girls around the world and acknowledge the barriers they continue to face. Today, over 130 million girls are out of school, facing challenges that can seem insurmountable. "Welcoming a baby girl is not always cause for celebration— but my father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, was determined to give me every opportunity a boy would have." - Malala Yousafzai. Malala faced tremendous adversity as the Taliban attempted to deny girls access to education. Despite the danger, she spoke out fearlessly, advocating for the right of girls to go to school. Her courage reached a turning point when, at just 15, she was targeted for her activism. Yet, instead of silencing her, this tragic event only amplified her voice. After recovering from her injuries, Malala became a global advocate for education. As we reflect on Malala’s inspiring journey, let us remember that the fight for girls’ education and empowerment is far from over. Every girl deserves the chance to dream, to learn, and to lead. Marching Sheep stands together for change and through our initiatives everyday we are ensuring that the dreams of girls everywhere are not just possible, but achievable. #InternationalGirlChildDay #Empowerment #DEI #Diversity #Inclusion #GenderEquality #Marchingsheep #MakeADifference Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers) Kunal S. Almost 9 out of 10 people with a mental condition experience stigma and discrimination, which negatively affects their lives. (MHPSS worldwide) As we celebrate World Mental Health Day 2024, let's remind ourselves that mental health thrives when people feel a sense of belonging. It’s time for organizations to step up and create environments that prioritize mental well-being. Fostering a sense of belonging can make all the difference, helping employees thrive in both their personal and professional lives. Organizations can start by building cultures where mental health is openly discussed without stigma, and offering resources such as employee assistance programs and counselling services. Emphasizing flexibility and work-life alignment can help reduce burnout while equipping leaders with the skills to recognize signs of distress and provide meaningful support will enhance workplace well-being. At Marching Sheep, we collaborate with organizations to create strategies that nurture mental well-being and inclusion. Let’s work together to build spaces where every mind can thrive. Reach out to us to learn how we can help your organization build a culture that supports mental well-being! #WorldMentalHealthDay #Belonging #DiversityandInclusion #MentalHealthMatters #MarchingSheep Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers) Kunal S.
