"The hardest part isn’t being bi. It’s being invisible." During #BisexualAwarenessWeek, we want to highlight an often unspoken truth: the unique challenges bisexual people face in the workplace. While strides have been made for #LGBTQIA+ representation, bisexuality remains largely invisible, especially for men. Why? Because bisexual men are often perceived to have feminine traits, leading to hiring bias and workplace discrimination, especially when they choose to reveal their true identity. This bias stems from harmful stereotypes that question their masculinity and decision-making, creating a significant barrier to equal opportunities. The painful reality is that bisexual people are forced into silence because they’re "half part of the norm." But is that really what workplaces need?
