The webinar featured interesting insights from Rohin Koolwal, Principal Associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and Ayush Sahay, Manager (Legal) at Viacom18. The speakers shared their perspective on traditional and evolving IP law issues, including the practical challenges in IPR enforcement and litigation. The speakers also discussed different IP roles and career paths like roles in law firms, IP litigation, opportunities in in-house roles and new areas like IP consulting, start-up requirements, and IP auditing. Speakers also highlighted the challenges of digital IP issues and the skills crucial for success in the evolving landscape of IP law. Together, they offered students a holistic view of the current IP law landscape, emphasizing diverse career opportunities, the impact of globalization, and the practical steps students can take, from specialized courses to building essential skills, to succeed in this dynamic field.
