Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), an autonomous body under MHI, conducted a two-day workshop-cum-training program for RTO in collaboration with Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in Patna. A visit to the Automated Testing Station was arranged to demonstrate fitness testing of in-use vehicles as per CMVR regulations. Through practical demonstration of in-use vehicle fitness testing, ARAI members apprised Transport Department Officials about functioning of test lane equipment, procedures to be followed for testing different categories of vehicles and generation of vehicle test reports.
