Our Safe Village Program, is supported through the use of our interactive flipchart, which speaks to the various topics. Filled with empowering messages for girls, boys, mothers, and fathers, this flipchart promotes positive behaviours and unity in the fight against exploitation. Our flip chart has been designed for community-based Implementing Partners and Field Trainers to help them conduct the Safe Village Program. Our programs in Bhir and Jharkhand receive support from the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP). #stopdomesticviolence #endhumantrafficking #genderbasedviolence

At a recent Safe Village Program in Krishna District, male students signed the Smart Boy Creed, pledging to protect themselves and their community. The Smart Boy Creed emphasises that; I will value and respect everyone’s opinions. I will take proactive steps to keep my village safe. I will stay vigilant and report suspicious activity by calling 1800 419 8588 and alerting village leaders. I am an agent of change, and I know it starts with me. I will not marry before 21 or support child marriage. I will reject activities that promote the demand for commercial sexual content or services. #stopdomesticviolence #endhumantrafficking #genderbasedviolence

New global UNICEF estimates released today, reveal a sobering reality: Over 370 million girls and women—1 in 8—have faced rape or sexual assault before age 18. When we include online and verbal abuse, that number soars to 650 million—a staggering 1 in 5. This data brings to light the ongoing violation of girls’ safety and dignity, with lifelong consequences.
