💲 Digital Natives - Gen Alpha and Advertising 💲 🙏 According to a survey of parents with Gen Alpha children, 69% of Gen Alpha children have requested something they saw in an advertisement, with 50% asking for something before age 6. 🎥 Video-centric social media is preferred by Gen Alpha, with kids aged 11-14 driving adoption. The most popular social media apps among Gen Alpha are YouTube (46% use it, 90% of users check it daily), TikTok (21%, 89%), Snapchat (14%, 84%), Instagram (14%, 78%), and Facebook (10%, 65%). Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event is over, and Numerator's tracking of the event has concluded! 95% of verified Prime Big Deal Days shoppers said they knew the event was happening before they shopped on Amazon, and 46% said Prime Big Deal Days was their primary reason for shopping. 58% of Prime Day shoppers said they were extremely or very satisfied with the deals offered this year, and 57% said the deals were the same as July’s Prime Day event. Prime Big Deal Days shoppers also reported shopping or expecting to shop other retailers’ fall sales events: 33% shopped / will shop Walmart Holiday Deals, 30% said they shopped / will shop Target Circle Week, 62% said they will shop Black Friday, and 60% said they will shop Cyber Monday.
