The MICE Sales Manager is expected to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets, align with marketing strategies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure flawless event execution. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Target Achievement: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet MICE segment revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities in the MICE sector, including corporate accounts, event planners, travel agencies, and associations. Prepare and deliver sales pitches, proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop loyalty programs or reward systems for repeat business. Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities in the MICE market. Provide feedback to the management team on competitor pricing, marketing tactics, and potential risks. Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with the operations, catering, and event management teams to ensure client requirements are met. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials, campaigns, and online presence for the MICE segment. Ensure seamless communication across departments for effective event execution. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, contracts, and sales revenue. Generate periodic sales reports, forecasting revenue trends, and updates for management. Track client feedback and conduct post-event analysis to measure success and areas for improvement. Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the MICE sales budget. Ensure all sales activities remain within budget and meet profitability targets. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in sales, ideally within the MICE or hospitality industry. Skills: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong understanding of the events and hospitality industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
