The grand festival of Ganesha Chaturthi is here; it's time to celebrate the birth of Lord Ganesha, son of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati!🌻🌺 Did you know that Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated for 10-11 days? Unequal Feminism (Racial-Gender intersectionality) movement Feminism is not a one-size-fits-all. Women are subjected to oppression not just because of their gender but also race and class. Sadly, the first wave of feminism focused primarily on the rights and issues of white women, often excluding those who were colored. But times have changed ; Intersectionality, a term introduced by Kimberlé Crenshaw, highlights how social injustice is interconnected. Modern feminism is enthusiastically embracing this approach and Women of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds are no longer completely sidelined - yet there are still ongoing struggles to secure space at the feminist table for all voices. It is time for feminism to become a globally inclusive movement. It is, after all, a movement of equality so, why treat any woman differently from the other?? Thank you everyone who joined the virtual game night on 31st August which was hosted by Aditi Dagwal and Chandrima Ghosh !! 🥳🥳🥳 Team 05 recently hosted an exciting game night that brought everyone together! The event was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of fun. The team set up a variety of games like guessing the movie name, correct the spelling and guess the personality . The participants were divided into teams and played against each other, cheering each other on and having a blast. The night ended with a prize for the winning team and a big thank you to Team 05 for organizing such a fantastic event. It was a great way to bond and build camaraderie among team members, and everyone left feeling energized and eager for the next game night!
