We all invest from time to time, but most of our investments decisions are very seasonal based on holidays, festivities or market volatalities etc. Investing is a crucial financial strategy that involves committing money or capital to an endeavor with the expectation of generating a return or profit over time. Therefore, the idea that investment decisions should not be seasonal emphasizes the importance of making investment choices based on long-term fundamentals rather than short-term trends or market fluctuations. Investors are encouraged to adopt a more strategic and patient approach, considering factors such as company performance, economic conditions, and industry trends over the long term. For example, let's consider a seasonal investment trend related to a specific industry. Suppose there's a recurring pattern where a certain sector, like technology or retail, tends to perform well during the holiday season due to increased consumer spending. A seasonal investor might be tempted to invest heavily in companies within that sector just before the holiday season, expecting short-term gains. However, a non-seasonal or long-term investor would look beyond the seasonal trend and consider the overall health and growth potential of the companies in that sector throughout the entire year. They might focus on factors such as innovation, market share, competitive advantages, and long-term growth prospects. By taking a non-seasonal approach, investors aim to avoid the risks associated with short-term market fluctuations and the uncertainties of relying on specific seasonal patterns. Instead, they base their decisions on a comprehensive analysis of the underlying factors that contribute to a company's success over the long run. In summary, the non-seasonal approach encourages investors to prioritize fundamental analysis and a long-term perspective over short-term market movements or seasonal trends when making investment decisions.

Vodafone Idea is likely to receive a capital infusion of at least $1 billion from various sources, including the Aditya Birla Group, banks, and overseas investors. This is according to a report by ET NOW. The capital infusion is much-needed for Vodafone Idea, which has been struggling financially for several years. The company has been losing subscribers to its rivals, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, and it has a large debt burden. The capital infusion will help Vodafone Idea to improve its network, services, and marketing, and to compete more effectively with its rivals. The Aditya Birla Group is Vodafone Idea's joint promoter, and it is expected to contribute a significant portion of the capital infusion. The group has already invested heavily in Vodafone Idea in the past, and it is committed to supporting the company. Banks are also likely to contribute to the capital infusion. Vodafone Idea has a good relationship with its lenders, and they are likely to be supportive of the company's turnaround plan. Overseas investors may also invest in Vodafone Idea. The company is in talks with several potential investors, and it is hopeful of securing investment from them. The capital infusion will be a major boost for Vodafone Idea. It will help the company to improve its financial health, invest in its network and services, and compete more effectively with its rivals. #indianstockmarketdailyupdates #stockmarket #stockmarketinvesting #stockmarketindia #indianstockmarket #stockmarketnews #investing #trading #dalalstreet #nse #bse #bseindia #nifty50 #niftyfifty #sensex #sensextoday #sharemarket #sharehazar #indianstartun #indianstartins #perpetualwealthmanagement #vodafone #idea

Online gaming companies in India have received Rs 1 lakh crore GST show cause notices so far. This was confirmed by a senior official on October 25, 2023. The notices were issued by the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) for alleged tax evasion on the full value of bets placed on online gaming platforms. The GST Council had clarified in August 2023 that a 28% GST would be levied on online gaming, casinos, and horse racing. Some of the online gaming companies that have received notices include Dream11, Play Games24×7, and Head Digital Works. These companies have challenged the notices in various courts. The government is expected to collect a significant amount of revenue from the GST levied on online gaming. However, the industry has warned that the high tax rate could stifle its growth. #stockmarket #stocks #investing #perpetualwealthmanagement #investment #money #finance #invest #nifty #investor #business #sharemarket #financialfreedom #rakeshihunjhunwala #trader #pmnarendramodi #entrepreneur #sensex #daytrader #stock #dalalstreet #wealth #nse #india #bse #stockmarketindia #daytrading #indexfunds #zerodha #onlinegaming
