Project Update: Mankulam Hydropower Project (2x20 MW) - Idukki District - Kerala. River Melacherry Ar (A tributary of Puyankutty Ar) We are proud to announce the upcoming completion of the 2.5-kilometer main tunnel for the Mankulam Hydropower Project, scheduled for 10th October—four months ahead of the original timeline! A huge appreciation to our Joint Venture partner, KSR INFRACON PRIVATE LIMITED, for their outstanding performance in the planning and execution of civil works. Their dedication has been pivotal in the construction of critical infrastructure, including the dam, tunnel, surge shaft, valve house, horizontal & inclined pressure shafts, access roads, and bridges. This milestone reflects the power of effective collaboration and our commitment to timely project delivery. We are excited to share the latest developments from the Kiru Hydro Electric Project (4x156 MW). Pressure Shaft Steel Liner (PS-3) has been successfully completed, reaching 73.865 meters in the Power House D-line up to the lower inclined bend, with a weight of 380.641 MT. Pressure Shaft Steel Liner (PS-1) has also been completed, spanning 47.259 meters in the Power House D-line, up to the lower inclined bend, weighing 260.096 MT. The inclined portion rail track arrangement works for erection purposes have been completed as well.
