It gives us immense joy to share, Ridhima Modi , our Finance head has received the Startup CFO of the year award at the TieconDelhi2024 ( TiE Delhi-NCR) While the award today formally recognizes her effort and acumen in the public sphere, there are countless women flowercyclers @ Phool.co who thank her for enabling them to become the CFO of their own lives. One of the first hires, Ridhima has seen and done it all . From shifting base to our flowercycling unit for 2 years for the sake of the women flowercyclers ,fighting with banks to make provisions for bank account openings for women who didn’t even have any ID proofs to handling due diligence and so much more. Ridhima has been instrumental in shaping Phool into what it is today. Perhaps her greatest contribution though, has been keeping the team on their toes and not letting pursuit of growth hamper financial discipline . Congratulations Ridhima Modi ! Phool @ Ayodhya ! Never really thought we would be amongst the headlines. All we had was an idea and the urge to do better. We at Phool, have had our ups and downs, but one thing that remained constant was the effort and research we put in every single day - to enable efficient collection and upcycling of temple flowers; upskill and employ more women from marginalized communities; develop better technical processes for a seamless supply chain and most importantly, invest in R&D of our products to create the perfect customer experience. Perhaps it was fate that we were ready to implement our idea in what promises to become India’s biggest pilgrimage center! Incredibly humbled to see the efforts getting acknowledged in local to national dailies. It also points at the big responsibility we now have and hope to do better with every passing day!
