pitch.dog specializes in designing premium, custom-made, pitch decks and presentations that help you ace that next pitch

About us

We craft made-for-you Film/TV Pitch Decks, Treatment Notes & Investor's Pitch Decks! Woof-woof! Welcome to pitch.dog: heaven for dogs, artistic utopia for designers & your savvy design partner that'll help you nail that next pitch. In 2020, 3 founders (and their 3 dogs) with multi-disciplinary experience in writing, design & advertising collaborated on a project. The project involved making 3 series bibles for a production company. We ideated, wrote and designed the heck out of those 3 show bibles. And we and hence the production company nailed those 3 beautiful shows. Thank you, dogs & the universe! What followed was an unprecedented demand for our services from the same production company, its director, the channel they were pitching to and a few more. Even our dogs didn’t see that coming. So, obviously we needed many more skilled paws and a place that could become our new work-home. Sit, stand, spin — and say hi — to pitch.dog!!! We ideate, strategize, write & design the heart out of a deck! We create FILM PITCH DECKS & TV BIBLES. We create ADVERTISING TREATMENTS. We create INVESTOR'S PITCH DECKS & all kinds of corporate presentations. We love the craft. We love the process. And we love the joy of creating something new each and every time. This emotion has become our company ethos and everyone at pitch.dog takes immense pride in working towards something that is artistic, unique and made with lots of heart. So if you have a show, an ad, or a brand to pitch, talking to us is like talking into the mirror, talking to pillow or talking to your best friend but with the added benefit of knowing what to do, with what you share. We don’t believe in copy-paste, templatized work. We create custom-made, made for you, pitch decks and presentations. Does that take a lot of thought and effort? Yes! But do we shy away from that and compromise on quality and delivery time, BIG NO! We are the bridge that connects you to your next big win! Keep those tails wagging!

    • The first time a client contact us -- is suspicious and not very sure about us.
    • But after working with us they are only left with good things to say, spread the good word ahead and keep coming back to us for future projects and collaborations.

"I hate pitch decks! I want people to read my screenplay. Asking a writer to make a pitch deck is insulting, we are not tech-bros!" We hear this a lot (even when people don't say it out loud.) So let's clear the air, once and for all! We want people to read your screenplay too!! That’s what a pitch deck is for! Think of a pitch deck as your screenplay's wingman—it's there to help your story shine, not steal its thunder. The point of a pitch deck is to be interesting enough to get executives who receive a thousand screenplays in their inbox everyday, to give yours a shot. At pitch.dog, we <3 writers and we respect the craft of screenwriting. The first few days of a project are spent reading your screenplay.( Sometimes, we’re so into it that we forget we have a pitch deck to work on! Then we get ourselves back on track, start highlighting key points and immersing ourselves into the world of your story to do it justice with the pitch deck. So, trust us when we say - your pitch deck is in good paws!

What’s a pitch deck? To put it simply, it's your idea in a visual document for a TV show/Film/Ad, that you send or present to an exec or anyone in a decision-making position. I’m the Creative Director at @pitch.dog, and this is my simple breakdown of what a Pitch Deck is. 🐾 Paws-ing for Basics Anything can be a pitch. As you narrate your show, a series of GIFs encapsulating your show can work as a pitch. You sending a small podcast teaser can be a pitch. Pitch the way you can to best narrate your work. 🐾 The Art of the Fetch The common norm or the most accepted way of pitching is having a “Pitch Deck” - this is a visual presentation that can be presented over a PowerPoint or Keynote or whatever else you like to use. In short, it’s your idea and a few slides that elaborate your idea and the world of your story. Brilliant! 🐾 Where Ideas Fetch and Designs Sit Pretty The fun starts between your stellar idea and how you write and design the slides contributing to that film/show/ad. How you write and how you design that logline. How interestingly you write your characters and then how you present them visually that is unique to your show’s world.  The expression of your idea in writing and via design can be endless and creatively gratifying. 🐾 Polishing Paws on a Muddy Pitch Won’t Make It Gleam Many pitch deck designers will tell you that a pitch deck is what makes or breaks your show or that you didn’t get a green light or that approval 'cause your presentation wasn’t compelling enough. I strongly believe there are a million-gazillion ways to pitch, and a pitch won’t change your base idea. It can elevate it, heck, it can even help you translate thoughts through beautiful design solutions. But, at the end of the day, it can’t turn an average/run-of-the-mill idea into anything more than what it really is. So don’t base all your hope on just the visual presentation of your show/film. 🐾 Keeping the Snout Close to the Idea So, go make a pitch deck or get it made, but never lose sight of what the root of your idea is, and if possible, express it better through the medium of design in your next pitch deck, and that should be enough. 🐾 Sniff Us Out If you get stuck, or if you need professional help or advice then you know where to find us. #PitchPerfect #CreativeDirection

Hi LinkedIn pack, I'm Manali, the Creative Force behind Pitch.Dog. We tailor bespoke pitch decks and show bibles for Film/TV and craft killer treatment notes for directors and the advertising world. In our 5+ years, our studio has blossomed into a creative haven, replete with a team of like-minded souls and a few furry friends—all speaking the same creative language. (woof-woof-monch-monch-zoomers, that’s right!) I’m here to connect with like-minded (potential) clients, peers, folks who inspire me, and those who want to learn something from me too. I'm new to this platform but not to the world of advertising, films, writing, and design. I plan to traverse this new territory with the same amount of sincerity, knowledge, intuition, wit, and spark! That means I’ll do my best to keep things interesting and share a lot of the great stuff we do, along with insights I’ve picked up along the way. Hopefully, I'll leave something exciting behind for everyone. Okay, then, let’s go pitching, woof woof!

filmmakers, are your pitch decks speaking the right language? here are some tips to find the right “visual voice” for your film/tv pitch deck step 01: sniff out the vibe and get inspired 🐾 before you start gathering images for your pitch deck, it's important to figure out the vibe you're going for. this will help guide your visual research and ensure that your deck is cohesive and consistent. a good way to do this is to identify comparables early on. what are movies/series that have a similar vibe to what you want to make? create a moodboard from all corners of the internet and voila - that’s your vibe. you can also take a look at other film and tv pitch decks for inspiration, and make note of what you like and what you don't. step 02: fetch lots of images…way more than you think you will need 📸 once you know the vibe you're after, it's time to start fetching some images. generally speaking, stills from movies/tv series is the way to go. there are plenty of great resources out there, both free and paid. step 03: unleash your inner artistic hound with art and abstracts: 🎨 incorporating art and abstract images into your pitch deck can add a unique and eye-catching touch. this is extremely underrated, and not enough people use this tool. look to instagram to find artists whose work you admire, and make sure you reach out and ask for permission to use their images in your pitch deck. just be sure to give proper credit where it's due. step 04: every detail opens new paw-sibillities! 🐕🦺 the little things can make a big difference in the overall look and feel of your pitch deck. keep an eye on small details like page numbers, underlines, and image frames or borders, and ask yourself "what can I do here to get this to match the overall theme of my story?" if you're looking for icons to add some spice to your pitch deck, the noun project is a great resource with a vast collection of icons to choose from. step 05: don’t let the software bite! 💻 if you're feeling overwhelmed with navigating the complexities of a design software, take a breather. sit and stay! remember that simple is safe. spend more finding the right images and putting it together in the simplest way you can. remember, a clean and simple pitch deck is always a good choice. have a question about designing your film/tv pitch deck? ask away! 🐶
