This creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, in 1916, through close cooperation with great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was established by the Parliamentary legislation-B.H.U. Act 1915. It is an "Institution of Eminence" and "Institution of National Importance", ranked as the 5th best university in India by NIRF 2023 Ranking. Since1984, the Faculty of Commerce introduced professional course wiz. MBA in Financial Management, MBA in Foreign Trade and MBA in Risk & Insurance, B.com(hons.)-FMM, M.com and Ph.D. to cater the industry requirement. The Faculty offers very rich infrastructure facility. We would be pleased to have at our campus.
