Padel Park India and SkyPadel have officially opened a state-of-the-art padel court in The Doon School, Dehradun. We applaud Anoop Singh Bishnoi, Chairman, Colonel Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster, and the sports faculty of Doon School (Nitin Chauhan, Inderjit Singh, Jitender Tiwari, Deepankar Sirohi) for seeing the importance of padel as a sport for growing children. We are excited to see the talent the Doon School is going to bring forward. Perhaps even players for Team India to represent. 2 Months. Nothing but Achievements. 🥎 It all started with us onboarding Parth Jindal, the man behind JSW Sports Pvt Ltd and Inspire Institute of Sport, as an investor. A truly pivotal moment for us. 🥎 With a prize pool of 10 lakhs, we hosted India Padel Tour 3.0, a padel tournament that was attended by over 500+ padel enthusiasts. 🥎 We got featured in Inc42 Media’s 30 Startups to watch out for in August 2024. 🥎 Indian Padel Academy's (IPA) first padel team. IPA's first international padel tournament. IPA's first medal in padel. In collaboration with IPA, Victor Perez Padel, our head coach and Imran Yusoof led Team India to their first bronze medal in APPT - Asia Pacific Padel Tour. Special shoutout to Rithik Sinha, Team Manager. 🥎 Onto, our India Padel Tour 4.0, Inter-Club Edition 1, which was a smashing success that doubled in attendance from India Padel Tour 3.0. We were honored to host 8 clubs and a whole lot of talent. 🥎 And lastly, we had the chance to host a singles mixer in collaboration with Bumble Inc. that was attended by over 30 singles, ready to mingle. 32 men and women met to shoot their shot. At padel and kinship. On the 12th, at Wings Sports Centre, Bandra, we had a singles mixer that resulted in a whole lot of games on court with the hopes of enabling more than games off court. Indian Padel Tour 4.0 - Inter Club Edition 1 was a smashing success. The tournament received an attendance of over 1000 people and the players were lauded with claps, shouts, and praises. All the clubs gave it their all, and CCI emerged the winning club, along with Willingdon as runner ups, and Malabar Hill as shield winners.
