This is so that your muscle memory forces you to step out of that chair during the rough days. Simple movement breaks like going out for a walk, stretching out, squatting (and even walking up to your colleague to distract them) help reduce your stress, sizeably improve your mood, and eventually, add a few ounces of energy to your system 😌

They also say that, if you work hard, you have the licence to play hard. The first couple of surfing sessions are what I look forward to the most! The splashes when you’re surrounded by water don’t just feel refreshing on the outside; it feels like a whole load of your thoughts get washed away. It’s a simple reminder that life really isn’t meant to be taken that seriously. Sometimes, even on vacation, I turn on my laptop for a few minutes. I believe that if you completely switch off, the #MondayEffect is as loud as ever 😅 The next day, I step out for another adventure in the water! When I’m not on vacation, my #SoulTherapy involves a different sport with my friends every weekend. Seriously. We never play the same sport, two weeks in a row! This is basically how I balance things out through my working weeks and my vacay weeks.
