We are back with the Batch VI for the ARSH for You course, and today we kicked off this batch with a fantastic orientation session! 🎊 The session began with opening remarks from Population Foundation of India, and HCLFoundation. We then delved into a brief on each organization's work, an overview of the course, a brief introduction of the faculty from Population Foundation of India and an orientation on accessing the HCLFacademy portal, and the session concluded with hearing the experiences of participants from our previous batches. We’re thrilled to have had over 90 participants actively participating and making the session vibrant and interactive! 🙌 The ARSH for you course, in partnership with HCLFoundation is designed for professionals working with adolescents or aspiring to engage with adolescents on their sexual and reproductive health and rights. I love learning 📚 After completing my post-graduation, I hesitated to take on additional coursework alongside my 9-to-5 job and wondered: Will I be able to manage the added commitment ? However, as time passed, I realized it was time to challenge my assumptions and broaden my perspective. 📌I'm exicted to share that I've taken my first step by completing the Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health (ARSH) course. In India, the conversation around sexual and reproductive health has often centered on women, but the role of men is equally critical. Men’s involvement is not just about contraception or family planning; it’s about being active participants in their own health and that of their partners.
