On the 14th and 15th September, PSD, in partnership with The Upamanyu Mallik Initiatives, hosted the 2nd Annual Upamanyu Mallik Cricket Tournament in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. This mixed-gender event, honoring the memory of our dear friend and cricket enthusiast Upamanyu Mallik, brought together 82 young people (50% girls) for two days of cricket. U-14 and U-17 teams from local partner schools competed, and we also welcomed 8 young players (50% girls) from HOPE KOLKATA FOUNDATION, a Kolkata-based organization serving underserved communities. The tournament was a joyful celebration of cricket's transformative power, filled with laughter and camaraderie.
