On October 28-29, our participants and coaches in Odisha attended Simply Periods workshops organized by our partner - Simply Sport Foundation. The sessions covered essential topics, including understanding menstrual cycles and their phases, recognizing PMS symptoms, tracking periods for female athletes, and recommended exercises during menstruation. Practical guidance on using tampons, menstrual cups, period panties, and pads, as well as effective communication strategies for supporting athletes during their periods, were also shared.

On October 25th, our Director-Founder, Suheil Tandon, took part in the second edition of the Get Kids To Play Summit organized by Sportz Village in New Delhi. The panel explored the how sport-based programs can be scaled up for impact, especially by leveraging CSR funding, and what was required in order to further enhance the appeal for promoting sports for all.

On October 22nd, our partners at Simply Sport Foundation held its Simply Smiles workshop for 12 of our coaches in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The workshop emphasized the critical role of mental health in athletes' well-being, providing guidance on how to support players by recognizing and addressing mental health challenges. Facilitators shared best practices for regular check-ins and fostering a supportive environment.
