    𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐈: 𝐈𝐬 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤? I recently came across a book called Deep Work by Cal Newport. I stumbled upon a statement—a prediction, or an observation (whichever you want to call it): "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐣𝐨𝐛𝐬; 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦." 🤯 𝐈𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐬: It will create a gap between two pools of talent. One will 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘫𝘰𝘣𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, while the other will 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦, becoming more valuable and thus more rewarded. 💼💸 This amplified my anxiety, but it also gave me hope, as it states three archetypes that will thrive in the future. 🤞 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝, here are the three archetypes: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫: 🧠 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘹 𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬: 🌟 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬: 💰 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘺. There you go. For me, it’s like a  𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵-𝘰𝘳-𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 🏃💥 I am 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘳, so my only option is to become 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫—which I’ve  𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴  wanted to be, no matter what I do. Here’s the cold hard proof — LET THERE BE CARNAGE: 1. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭-𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞! 🛡 New frameworks and tools are dropping faster than you can say "JavaScript." Front-enders need to stay sharp and adapt every day! 2. 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 🎨💥 Building with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is like creating art... but with unpredictable tools that may (or may not) blow up in your face. Enjoy! 3. 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐬 🕵️♂️ 𝐯𝐬 👾 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜! You have to make sure your UI works on every browser (yes, even that one) while balancing slick designs with insane logic. React or Vue, pick your poison. 4. Don’t even get me started on performance optimization. 5. 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐬 👾 Making your UI shine on Chrome, Safari, AND Internet Explorer? He told me, “𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐚, 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲.” 𝐖𝐡𝐲? Because 𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚, 𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢! 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝? Let me explain. The "masala" of every resume lies in six-letter words. Replace 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 with 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭. Why? Think about it—what sounds more interesting? “Handled client accounts,” or “Improved client satisfaction by 25% through enhanced account management strategies.” 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭. 𝐇𝐨𝐰? With numbers. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜. 𝐖𝐡𝐲? Because you are capable of many great things at the same time. Display your impact as a leader, mentor, and team player. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞? Clearly explain how you achieved those results: What experiments did you run? What mistakes did you make? What problem did you solve? 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥. Ask colleagues and friends how they perceive you. 8️⃣ Do a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Analyze your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. 9️⃣ Who is your target audience? Know who you're trying to reach, build a network, and understand what they’re looking for. 🔟 Who is your competition in the marketplace, and what differentiates you from them? Your unique points It’s time to stop pleading for attention. Instead, build a personal brand that makes HRs and recruiters come to 𝘆𝗼𝘂. Despite having the right experience, they often struggle with basic interview skills. So, my friends, I asked them to spoon-feed me the recipe, and here it is: 𝗡𝗔𝗜𝗟 𝗔 𝗝𝗢𝗕 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 Now it’s your turn to open your mouth, chalo bolo “𝘢𝘢𝘢𝘢𝘢𝘢𝘢”. 𝟭. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆: “𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩.” → Thoroughly know about the company, its industry, mission, and audience. → Understand the JD, responsibilities, and qualifications required for the role. 𝟮. 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳: → Carefully review your resume and make sure you can clearly explain your work experience, skills, and achievements. 𝟯. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂: → Prepare answers for common interview questions, such as “𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺?” and “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴?” → Brush up on your basics (especially for tech roles) to avoid stumbling on technical questions. 𝟰. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: → Always talk about your experience from the perspective of the 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 you made, rather than just activities you did. → Talk in numbers about your impact, and have a clear understanding of the problems you solved and the measures you took. 𝟱. 𝗕𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻: → Apart from speaking clearly and loudly enough to be heard, make sure you don’t blabber and stay on point. → Be open to saying “𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸”, while letting them know you’re ready to learn and improve.     𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀... 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂? It's not for the big bucks. Here’s what prompted them to make the switch: If you find yourself in the same situation, 𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘. In simple words, 𝗝𝗨𝗠𝗣!! 𝗝𝗨𝗠𝗣!! 𝗝𝗨𝗠𝗣!! I felt promotions were not based on merit, and it seemed like my efforts weren't appreciated. There were little to no learning opportunities or challenges. While it was comfortable, I also felt stuck. It was great in the beginning, but it soon became monotonous. I found myself just executing orders instead of contributing meaningfully. I felt like just another employee and wanted to make a direct impact. I longed to work with a smaller team that fosters a better culture and camaraderie. I enjoy trying new things because I believe I have better ideas that often go unappreciated.
