No more dirty chambers! Our mission to create cleaner work environments brought us to Cincinnati’s AMTA 2024 Exhibition. In the photo in the middle, Vincent van de Vrie, the latest addition to our international technical consultancy team, is shown. He said he learned a lot from the many visitors to the three-day event. Vincent: “Even more than at last month’s trade show in Paris, visitors respond to the No More Dirty Chambers proposition. I heard stories about professionals getting their hands dirty from leaking absorbers, swiping the chamber with a broom before testing, and people wearing face masks. One man told me he vacuum-cleaned their absorbers from time to time! It’s crazy and unnecessary with the DMAS (Dutch Microwave Absorber Solutions) Broadband RF Absorbers we bring to the show. Since it's a new concept, we get a lot of curious visitors asking questions: how the glue-free installation process works, if they are not more expensive than absorbers from the States because of shipping (the answer is no), and if they are not more vulnerable than traditional absorbers because they feel more solid (they are not).” And then there is the Bingo card. Vincent: “Yes, the organisation hands out bingo cards to visitors. They can fill them in by visiting as many booths as possible. Each exhibitor can give them a stamp, and a full card gives them the chance to win a prize today. It’s a great idea and a huge success. It brings people to the stand who might not visit us otherwise, and I manage to engage most of them in a good conversation. And we also have our branded hand sanitisers that we give away to overcome the time until we install the new absorbers!” If you want to replace your old absorbers with these free-from-dust absorbers for antenna testing, scan the QR code on the infographic in the comments for digital product brochures with technical specifications or message Vincent van de Vrie.
