Our "My Body My Rights" program is an unbiased and scientific, curriculum-based Comprehensive Gender and Sexuality Education (CSE) initiative. Covering vital topics like bodies, sex, gender, sexuality consent, violence, mental health, relationships, contraception and more, this journey fosters self-awareness, inclusivity, advocacy and equips one with the tools to take it to the communities. In collaboration with Swayam, our three-day Training of Trainers workshop in Kolkata from 31st July to 2nd August brought together 14 dedicated participants. They were thoroughly trained in this workshop on comprehensive gender and sexuality education, to ensure youth and adolescents receive the support they need. Together, we're creating ripple effects of positive change. 💜

Just wrapped up an amazing two-day Digital Advocacy workshop and we can't wait to share some glimpses of the same!!! We had the privilege of co-facilitating alongside the brilliant Point of View for the incredible team at Samabhabona. Together, we dived into accessible tools, creative mediums, and dynamic methods, digital storytelling, all while building and planning impactful social media campaigns. It was a journey of learning, sharing, and growing, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible experience. Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

Change, leadership, and enthusiasm work in a powerful ripple effect. What began with the RangTuli Peer Leader Group has now spread far and wide, inspiring countless young girls to step forward. Even without direct interaction, RangTuli continues to inspire others, demonstrating the incredible domino effect created by empowered voices. Our school intervention program under Project Tamanna has seamlessly woven its way into the fabric of the community, engaging not just young girls but also mothers, Asha didis, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. This collective effort was evident in our vibrant celebration, organized by the dedicated Sohochari peer leaders from Kheyadah High School, with an array of performances—from dance and drama to poetry—each celebrating the diverse experiences of menstruation and the importance of dignified menstrual hygiene. The event highlighted the need for open dialogue and education, breaking down the stigma and promoting awareness around menstrual health. With the support from our team, the Sohochari group ensured the day was informative and empowering for all attendees. The program was filled with laughter, giggles, applause, and a lot of learning. These amazing girls show us every day that social change can be achieved in a super fun way. Together, we’re working towards a #PeriodJust world where conversations about menstrual health and dignity are encouraged, and everyone can embrace a future of informed, healthy individuals. Let’s continue to champion awareness! #MenstrualHygieneDay #BreakTheStigma #CommunityEmpowerment

Our journey, which began unofficially in 2019, has been one of striving towards #SRHR with a special emphasis on menstrual equity and reproductive justice. We've reached thousands of menstruators, adolescents, and youths in both rural and urban areas across multiple states. Reflecting on our progress, we've moved from a time with little conversation about menstruation to today, where more young folks are taking space and talking about it. We are dedicated to creating a #PeriodJust world where every menstruator has access to their choice of products, no one experiences period poverty, and everyone can menstruate with dignity. Today on the 28th of May, we celebrate menstrual health, dignity, and hygiene—not just menstrual hygiene—as it better honors the diverse experiences of menstruation. #MHDay2024 #MenstruationMatters #JoinTheMovement #MenstrualHygieneDay #menstrualhealth #menstrualdignity #SRHR #periodjustice

Through our work, our team frequently interacts with adolescents and young people, providing valuable opportunities to explore topics that are often overlooked. We believe that by equipping young people with accurate and appropriate knowledge about their bodies and selves, we empower them to make informed choices. Here are some testimonials from participants following our sessions.
