🌍 Earth is often called the 'Blue Planet,' but did you know there's another fascinating blue world about 60 light-years away? Meet HD 189733b, a giant gaseous planet similar to Jupiter but much hotter, with surface temperatures soaring to 980°C (1800°F). 💨 This extreme exoplanet experiences winds up to 6,400 km/h (4,000 m.p.h.), making it a truly inhospitable place for life as we know it. What's even more astonishing is that it rains molten glass on HD 189733b! These rainstorms of glassy silicate particles give the planet its unique blue hue. ✨ HD 189733b is part of the "hot Jupiter" category, massive planets that orbit very close to their stars. These hot Jupiters are relatively easy to spot because they cause a significant drop in their star's light when they pass in front of it; HD 189733b, for instance, causes a three percent dip in its star's brightness. The wonders of our universe never cease to amaze! 🌌 #Astronomy #Space #Exoplanets #Science #Innovation #Curiosity #BluePlanet #HD189733b #HotJupiter

Celebrating World Wide Web Day: A Journey from Inception to Innovation On March 1989, Tim Berners-Lee presented a groundbreaking proposal for a "distributed information system" aimed at facilitating seamless sharing and updating of information among scientists at CERN. This vision laid the foundation for what we now know as the World Wide Web. In collaboration with Robert Cailliau, Berners-Lee developed the first web browser, WorldWideWeb (later renamed Nexus), and the first web server, "httpd," by 1990. The world's first website went live on August 6, 1991. This pioneering site, hosted on Berners-Lee's NeXT computer (which also served as the first web server), provided an introduction to the World Wide Web project and instructions on how to access and utilize this transformative technology. As we celebrate World Wide Web Day, we reflect on the remarkable journey of the web from its humble beginnings to becoming an indispensable part of our daily lives. This day is not just about looking back; it's also about looking forward and recognizing the innovations that continue to shape our future. One such innovation is Robo Lifestyle, a dynamic startup dedicated to advancing STEM education. By leveraging the power of the internet and the World Wide Web, Robo Lifestyle is making STEM education accessible, interactive, and engaging for students around the globe. Through online courses, virtual labs, and interactive learning platforms, they are inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. World Wide Web Day is a perfect opportunity to appreciate how far we've come and to support ventures like Robo Lifestyle that are paving the way for future breakthroughs in technology and education. Together, we can continue to harness the power of the web to create a more connected, informed, and innovative world. 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘃𝗲: 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲! The solar system moves in two main ways, like a dance in space! 1. 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲: - Imagine the sun and planets swirling around in a big circle. This dance around the middle of the Milky Way takes a super long time, like 225-250 million years – that's longer than you can count! - There's a huge invisible force, like magic, from a giant black hole called Sagittarius A*, right in the middle, helping to keep everything in line. 2. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘅𝘆: - Our home, the Milky Way, is like a big spinning pinwheel, and we live in one of its arms called the Orion Arm or Local Spur. - Because the whole Milky Way is spinning, our solar system is taking a ride through space. It's like being on a giant merry-go-round! 3. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀: - The solar system zooms around at a super, super fast speed – 828,000 kilometers per hour (514,000 miles per hour)! - The path it takes isn't a perfect circle; it's a bit stretched out, and sometimes it goes up and down, like a bumpy ride. So, our solar system's dance is like a big space party with spinning, circling, and speedy moves. It's all part of the amazing show in the Milky Way galaxy! Temperature, a key measure of an object's heat, is the average kinetic energy of its molecules. 🌡 Celsius and Fahrenheit offer different scales, but scientists opt for Kelvin, where 'absolute zero' marks the lowest energy level. Thermometers are our tools in this thermal exploration. 🔬 #STEMEducation #RoboLifestyle
What tells us how much heat the object has? 🌡Temperature tells us the degree of hotness or coldness of an object. 🌡It is a measurable physical property like other measurable physical properties such as velocity, mass, and density. 🔬At a microscopic level, temperature describes the average kinetic energy of molecules within a material or system. 🌡Temperature is typically seen in units of degrees Celsius or °C (in some countries the Fahrenheit scale is used). 🌡Celsius is the standard unit of temperature in the metric system of units. Celsius is split up into degrees, with one degree being 1/100 of the temperature difference between the boiling and freezing points of water. 🌡Fahrenheit is equal to 9/5 degrees Celsius. 🌡Scientists use the Kelvin scale, which doesn’t measure temperature in degrees. Zero Kelvin is ‘absolute zero’, the coldest temperature and lowest energy level equal to about -273 degrees °C. 🌡A thermometer is a device used for measuring temperature.
