The Joy of Owning a School Bag & Stationery – Siksha School Kits   Think back to your school days—do you remember needing a pencil, an eraser, or a sharpener and hesitating to ask your friends? That small moment of lacking something essential often left us feeling sad and disappointed.   For many children, not having basic school supplies isn’t just an inconvenience—it affects their confidence, self-esteem, and learning experience. Some feel embarrassed, some hesitate to ask for help, and others face ridicule from their peers.   With the primary goal of combating school dropouts, fostering self-esteem and, thereby academic performance, Sankalp has been providing school kits in government and budget schools. This academic year, Sankalp, with the support of the JSW Foundation has provided school kits to children from government schools across 5 districts and 11 villages in Telangana.
