𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀: Sensivision is tackling the critical issue of birth asphyxia, a leading cause of newborn mortality and brain damage. Their innovative device, Revive, is the first to combine therapeutic hypothermia and brain activity monitoring, allowing for comprehensive treatment of Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) in newborns. 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗼-𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: Caring for a child with HIE can impose a lifetime financial burden of up to INR 1 crore per family. For government medical institutions, treating just five HIE-affected newborns monthly can save INR 60 crores annually. Revive has already contributed to a socio-economic impact of over INR 250 crores in India by reducing brain damage and subsequent developmental disorders, easing the burden on families, and improving newborn care.
