On 19th October 2024, Shri Suman Bery, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, led a high-level meeting on ‘Uttarakhand’s socio-economic growth’ in Dehradun with Shri Raj Shekhar Joshi, Vice Chairman of SETU Aayog,  Smt. Radha Raturi, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttarakhand, and other senior officials from the Government of Uttarakhand. Key focus areas included: 🌄 Addressing infrastructure challenges in remote areas with sustainable development initiatives. 💼 Supporting livelihoods for marginalized communities through innovative interventions. 🌾 Enhancing agricultural standards, especially in cultivating high-value crops to boost rural income. 💧 Improving water resource management and increasing local water sustainability. Discussions also highlighted Uttarakhand's growing contribution to national energy demands and plans for expanding clean energy sources. On September 7, 2024, Vice Chairman of SETU Aayog, Shri Raj Shekhar Joshi, met with the Hon'ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd.). During this insightful meeting, Shri Joshi briefed the Governor on the latest initiatives and accomplishments of SETU Aayog.

On 23rd July 2024, the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Government of Uttarakhand, reviewed the work plan of SETU Aayog along with Shri Raj Shekhar Joshi - Vice Chairman of SETU Aayog, Smt. Radha Raturi -Chief Secretary to the Government of Uttarakhand, and Shri Meenakshi Sundaram- Secretary of Planning. SETU Aayog is initiating work to develop robust Data Ecosystem in the state for effective monitoring and evaluation of government schemes and policies. The focused intervention also includes simplification of government schemes and enabling access to the schemes for all citizens by developing digital portal of government schemes. Further interventions as directed by Hon’ble Chief Minister shall be undertaken for effective governance and sustainable development.

Shri Raj Shekhar Joshi, Vice Chairman SETU had a meeting at Indian Institute of Management Kashipur on 25th May 2024. Professor Kulbhushan Baluni- Director IIM briefed about the work of Foundation of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (FIDD) and Design Innovation Centre (DIC) wings of IIM Kashipur which are supporting rural entrepreneurs and Agri-based startups in Uttarakhand, strengthening the robust start up ecosystem in Uttarakhand. Over the last seven years, they've supported over 200 startups, with more than 40% of them being Agri-based, raising over 112 crores.
