IT Support Specialist Tier 1 Helpdesk : provides maintenance and support of company laptops and virtual machines by analyzing and understanding problem statements, following standard troubleshooting steps, resolving workflow problems, and installing software solutions, and escalating issues to Tier 2 analysts as necessary using the internal helpdesk ticketing system. This position will be the first point of contact for technical support. Tasks include Teammate support, performing remote computer maintenance, upgrades and configurations. This position requires an in-depth understanding of high-level customer service protocol. Local Assist: Be a local resource for assistance with technology needs as they arise within the local office. Design Technology Support Specialist The CAD/BIM Support Specialist will apply their knowledge of mainstream design software titles and Building Information Modeling (BIM) best practices, and other AEC related technology while working as an integral member of the Team. This will include testing machine images to validate readiness for publishing to internal teammates, creating software deployments, generating schemas, profiles, and configurations to standardize machine images, as well as being a technology and BIM resource for project teams utilizing Autodesk AEC Collection, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and other AEC design and visualization software. Technical Qualifications desired include: Knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, Sketchup, Navisworks, 3DSMax Design, and other object-based design software. Experience using web-based collaborative software, project extranets, BIM / CAD Utilities, plotting techniques and coordination of BIM / CAD data input and output. A small farmhouse on the outskirts of Hyderabad designed to be a recluse for the family. An open plan that blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. Designed with an acute focus on sustainability, the form evolved from the need for large overhangs

Located in Janwada, Hyderabad, this 9000 sq ft minimalist farmhouse embodies our design philosophy: blending boundaries and is a testament to minimalist luxury. Featuring two floating sections—one for private spaces and one for semi-public areas—above a base with public spaces, the design harmonizes with nature. The steel structure hovers to keep the landscape open below, creating a seamless integration of architecture and environment.

While the Indian Construction industry has come a long way in all these years, we still are far from the industry being organized. We still don't have a great process to get to the final design implementation stage. The disconnect between our drawings, detailing, and the end product of our design continues to be a challenge. Hence, to narrow this gap and in an effort to understand how the counterparts in other countries operate, our recent session with Priya Sambasivam on "Design Delivery & Construction Documentation" brought her valuable industry experience from the US. This was instrumental in identifying key areas for improvement. Her insights into the US construction industry's best practices and protocols highlighted the importance of adopting a more structured approach in India.The Indian construction industry often struggles with adhering to schedules, leading to rework, wastage, and delays. This is largely due to a lack of standardized processes and protocols, insufficient planning, and poor communication among stakeholders. Some key factors contributing to the US industry's success include: - Standardized project management practices - Realistic timelines and expectations - Emphasis on planning and coordination In the US, clients are educated on the importance of allowing sufficient time for design development, permitting, and procurement. This leads to more strategic solutions, reduced rework, and improved resource allocation. Her insights into the US construction industry's best practices and protocols highlighted the importance of adopting a more structured approach in India.

VOLVO Vehicle Tech Lab Location: Bagmane Tech Park, CV Raman Nagar Built-up Area: 7,000 sq. ft. Site Area: 12,000 sq. ft. The Volvo Vehicle Tech Lab is a state-of-the-art research and development facility designed to accommodate three large trucks and includes mezzanine levels for office meeting rooms and staff areas. The primary structure is a pre-engineered building (PEB) with the envelope and roof constructed from PUF panel sheets, ensuring thermal efficiency and durability. An 8-meter tall space allows for truck access, while the mezzanine levels maximize space usage for offices and staff rooms. The facility is designed to harness natural light through strategically placed skylights and full-height windows, providing a bright and energy-efficient environment. Ventilation is ensured by mushroom vents installed on the roof. Sustainability is a core aspect of the lab's design, with solar panels installed to generate 50 kW of power. This renewable energy source contributes to the facility’s ability to reduce CO2 emissions by 57.54 tonnes annually, making it a self-sustaining and environmentally conscious project.
