Subhag helps infertile couples conceive of their home privacy and comfort with the patented technology of DIY home IUI

About us

We have invented a medical device which enables couples to perform IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination) discreetly in home environment. An invention that solves the male infertility problem without visiting doctor -expanding infertility treatment through home-based IUI( intrauterine insemination) disrupting IVF market. Infertility has become a major burden in India, with an estimated 27 to 30 million couples, in their reproductive age, unable to conceive despite their willingness to move towards parenthood. The data released by Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction suggests that infertility currently affects about 10 to 14 percentage of Indian population, with higher rates in urban states where every 1 couple out of 6 is impacted by infertility. Raising a family is a major component of social system in India and inability to breed a child of your own leaves an adverse mental impact. With the advancement in technology, number of medical treatments in the form of IUI, IVF, egg and embryo freezing, donor egg treatment, donor embryo treatment as well as surrogacy mushroomed in the healthcare market that relieved the burden of infertility to some extent. These technologies were, though, intended to assist infertile couples to have children of their own, their usage expanded for profit-making, over the course of time. These medical treatments also involve other shortcomings like most of the treatments are painful and induce side effects on the subjects. There was, therefore, need to develop a technique that can alleviate the trauma of infertile couples by providing them a comfortable, hassle-free medical solution to their problem.

How does the hypothalamus control ovulation The hypothalamus plays a crucial role in regulating ovulation through a complex interplay of hormonal signals. It primarily controls this process by releasing gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which is essential for the functioning of the reproductive system. Mechanism of Control GnRH Release: The hypothalamus secretes GnRH in a pulsatile manner, typically every 60 to 120 minutes. This rhythmic release is vital for stimulating the anterior pituitary gland to produce two key hormones: follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). FSH and LH Function: FSH: This hormone promotes the growth and maturation of ovarian follicles, which contain the eggs. As follicles develop, they produce estrogen, further influencing the menstrual cycle. LH: A surge in LH is critical for triggering ovulation. This surge typically occurs around the midpoint of the menstrual cycle, leading to the release of a mature egg from the dominant follicle. Hormonal Feedback: The rising levels of estrogen from developing follicles exert positive feedback on the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, enhancing GnRH and LH secretion. This feedback loop is essential for the timing of ovulation. Dual Control Mechanism: Research suggests that the hypothalamus exerts both stimulatory and inhibitory influences on ovulation through different neurotransmitters. For instance, serotonin can inhibit gonadotropin release, while catecholamines like dopamine can promote it. The balance between these pathways determines whether ovulation occurs. Understanding how the hypothalamus regulates ovulation is essential for grasping female reproductive health and addressing issues related to fertility and menstrual cycle irregularities. - The news about the forecast of a declining population is both happy and concerning. - Contrary to popular belief, governments are now raising eyebrows over the forecast. - The Lancet report suggests that India's Total Fertility Rate (TFR) could irreversibly dip to 1.29, much lower than the replacement rate of 2.1. - Factors contributing to the declining TFR include female career ambitions, urbanization, better access to family planning and contraception, and couples opting for smaller families. - However, the report overlooks the critical issue of rising infertility, which also contributes to the declining TFR. - Some state governments are taking initiatives to make infertility services more accessible. - "SUBHAG" has been raising concerns about infertility for some time now. - Our Founder VIKRAM SINGH, a visionary entrepreneur, realized the gravity of this concern almost a decade ago. - SUBHAG offers affordable, smart, and innovative infertility solutions benefiting infertile couples and gynecologists across India. - To learn more about SUBHAG Healthtech, visit https://lnkd.in/ghKuKks8

On VIKRAM SINGH's birthday, I want to highlight three qualities of our CEO and my dear friend that I truly admire: 1. Bold Risk-Taking: During a pivotal fund raise, we faced a daunting quote for due diligence. While I would have opted to conserve resources for our startup's (SUBHAG® HealthTech) runway, Vikram courageously pursued a different path. His decision yielded favorable outcomes, showcasing his remarkable risk-taking capability. 2. Strategic Negotiation: Vikram often emphasizes the importance of understanding the counterpart's motivations and perspectives during negotiations. Witnessing his negotiation prowess firsthand has not only impressed me but also guided my own successful negotiations. 3. Genuine Friendliness: Vikram's warmth and approachability have proven invaluable, both personally and professionally. Building genuine connections makes navigating challenges smoother and fosters a positive work environment. Happy birthday, Vikram! Your leadership and friendship are truly cherished. Many happy returns of the day! 🎉🎂
