Cities around the world are taking action to keep global warming in check. By planting trees and creating "green corridors", Medellín, Colombia has slashed urban temperatures by 2°C – all for under $7 per person a year! These green corridors act like giant air conditioners, providing shade and lowering temperatures through a natural process. The result? Health and Safety first at SunSource Energy! Yesterday, we conducted a health camp for our employees, underscoring our organisation’s purpose of ‘courage to care for people’. The initiative included expert consultations and comprehensive screenings with the objective of promoting a culture of proactiveness towards one’s health. Recognising the importance of mental well-being, a session on stress management was also organised as part of this camp. In a virtual session led by experts, we explored effective techniques to reduce stress and boost a positive mindset in our daily lives.
