    The 3 secrets to building an authentic employer brand—no, it's not about perks! At Supersourcing, we realized this early on that building a strong employer brand goes far beyond offering perks and benefits. It’s about showcasing who we are at our core to attract people who truly resonate with our vision. But getting here didn’t happen overnight. It took countless late-night brainstorms and trial-and-error to figure out what truly matters. What key elements shaped (and are constantly evolving) our strategy? 1. Authenticity -> Our leadership actively participates in storytelling, ensuring the stories align with the company’s values (while maintaining an honest portrayal of the workplace) highlighting ACTUAL employee benefits and growth opportunities in their communication, focusing on creating a people-first culture. 2. Clarity -> We have a clear Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that communicates our mission, vision, and values transparently. We also make sure job postings and recruitment materials reflect this and are super clear by using specific, targeted messaging that reflects our workplace environment, making it easy for potential candidates to understand what sets us apart as an employer. 3. Alignment -> We bridge the gap between internal culture and external perception by aligning our internal communications with our employer branding efforts. This mostly means consistent messaging across social media, testimonials, and internal platforms to ensure that the company’s values and culture are reflected both inside and outside the organization.  Why is this important? Companies with a stronger employer brand have a 28% lower turnover rate than companies with a weaker employer brand. So, take a moment and ask yourself this today: How much of your company’s identity is reflected in your employer brand?
