🌟 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 & 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 🌟 We recently participated in a strategic meeting led by the Minister of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Women & Child Welfare, focused on sustainable development in rural and tribal areas. Our alumni NGO partner, Nirmaan, introduced their impactful initiative, "ONE CSR ONE VILLAGE"—a call to direct CSR efforts to the unique, specific needs of these communities. The meeting gathered an inspiring cross-section of leaders, including the district collectors of Mulugu and Adilabad, influential CSR heads, foundation representatives, and the IAS and CEO of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP). Local MPs and MLAs from Adilabad also lent their voices to the dialogue. Representing the American Chamber of Commerce in India, Hyderabad chapter, our partner Ranvijay Lamba joined as Chairman. The SVP team was invited to collaborate, utilizing our expansive NGOs and Philanthropist network. Together, we are committed to driving positive, sustainable change through collaboration and community-focused initiatives! 🌱 Ajit Rangnekar Paparao Chintalapudi Ram Kaundinya Sunita Reddy Cheruku Usha Pendyala Shobu Yarlagadda Ram Manjeri Nagesh Reddy Gouravaram Nidhi Reddy Narendra Paruchuri Kishore Kothapalli Aamrapali Sharma Prachi Mishra Nirmaan Organization Mayur Patnala (India/Bharat)

About us
SVP India is a community of compassionate and accomplished individuals working towards an equitable India through structured engagement with NGOs. We have a diverse peer network of more than 600 individuals (partners) across 8 major cities in India, whose time, expertise, and connections are leveraged to create a multiplier effect for our enlisted NGOs. SVP India has a well-thought-out approach to philanthropy where we carefully assess and onboard credible NGOs, ensuring that our support goes where it's needed the most. Collaborating actively with these non-profits, our partners gain a deeper understanding of the social sector. We have worked closely with over 100 NGOs and our partners have already contributed over 25,000 hours of their time towards building the scale and capacity of these organizations. Nearly 90% of our partners have been associated with us for over 5 years, a testament to their deep sense of fulfilment in their philanthropic journey, contributing in sectors like Healthcare, Disability, Women’s Empowerment, Employment, Waste Management, Education & Youth, and Sustainable Environment. We invest in a collaborative solution, so those with a common cause can align their efforts and go further together. In essence, SVP India is where engagement transforms lives. We are committed to fostering social change through strategic giving, empowering non-profits, and building a strong community of philanthropists who learn, grow, and create a ripple effect to bring about a positive shift.

SVP India’s Chennai Chapter partners delved deeper into the work done by education focused NGOs in our All Partner Meeting on 16th October. Vedika Agarwal, founder of Yein Udaan NGO gave an insightful introduction to the impactful work of the NGO. Our partners asked the origin story behind the interesting name of the NGO “Yein Udaan” is an amalgamation of two languages – Tamil (‘Yein’ meaning ‘My’) and Hindi (‘Udaan’ meaning ‘Takeoff’). Yein Udaan was conceived as an after-school community center to provide continuous training in academic, cultural, and sports activities to children in Chetpet’s Dhobi Khana community, located in central Chennai. The NGO creates a safe space for the marginalised children from the Chetpet in Chennai. The NGO takes a holistic approach and works with the children and parents from the community. The presentation was followed by an interactive session where partners understood the depth and width of the Yein Udaan interventions, scope for replication and the challenges faced by the founder in her journey.” Piyush Bhandari Gayathri Balan Vijayalakshmi Rao Babu SK Vedika Agarwal Meenakshi Ramesh Prahalathan K K Vaishnavi Srinivasan Janav Shah Dipesh Shah Akhila Natarajan Ishita Jhunjhunwala Sangeeta Kshettry #SVPIndia #EngagedPhilanthropy #Chennai #NGO #partnershipsforchange #socialimpact #philanthropy #nonprofits #education
