In the early life of a start-up, there are several “wow” moments where you have to pinch yourself—closing your first fundraising round, being praised by your peers, getting your first big customer, hitting a technical breakthrough of some kind, or entering the scaling phase. We had one of those moments recently when the Swedish Ambassador to India, Jan Thesleff, visited our team, accompanied by the Consul General of Sweden in Mumbai, Sven Östberg. He took the time to understand our vision of making sports accessible to the masses of India and our mission statement, which is to empower +1M everyday athletes. This visit gave our team an extra boost to continue chasing our dream. We want to extend our deepest gratitude for all the support we get from the Ambassador and Consul General and their team, including but not limited to Shuchita Mohan, Markus Lundgren, Rebecca von Schreeb from the Embassy of Sweden (Sweden In India), and Saloni Zaveri-Ahluwaliai and Joakim Gunnarsson from the Consulate General of Sweden, Mumbai (Sweden in Mumbai) for supporting us through our journey of reshaping the Indian sports landscape. It was an honor to have Ambassador Jan Thesleff and Consul General Sven Östberg visiting our manufacturing site at Chakan, Pune, last Friday. It was a day filled with great energy and wonderful conversations about innovation, sustainability, and the future of food. During a tour of our converting factory, product development center, and processing equipment manufacturing facilities, we had the chance to showcase how we’ve been leading the way for the F&B industry for nearly 40 years in South Asia. We are incredibly proud of our state-of-the-art integrated facility, which is also home to India’s first and only certified World Class Manufacturing site. It was especially delightful to see Ambassador Thesleff’s enthusiasm and his amazement at discovering that Tetra Pak is a leading manufacturer of ice cream and cheese production equipment! He was equally impressed upon tasting our locally developed Pista Kulfi in ambient packaging, which doesn’t require cold chain transportation. For me, it was pleasantly surprising to hear from Ambassador Thesleff that he had worked with Tetra Laval earlier in his career — what a wonderful connection! Thank you, Ambassador Thesleff and Consul General Östberg, for your warmth and for taking time to discuss areas of synergy through which we can positively impact the lives of people in our region. It was a privilege to host you both. Sweden In India Sweden in Mumbai, Saloni Zaveri-Ahluwalia, Joakim Gunnarsson #TetraPak #sustainability #innovation #MakeInIndia

Nordic expertise contributes to India's climate transition in real estate! The Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi hosted a stimulating conversation which explored how the Nordic countries can contribute to India’s journey toward a climate - resilient #realestate sector. Markus Lundgren, Economic Counsellor, delivered the welcome address, focusing on how Nordic expertise in green building technologies, financing for green infrastructure, and collaborative projects can play a pivotal role in India’s real estate decarbonization. By focusing on both greenfield and brownfield assets, inefficient buildings can be transformed into Grade A, sustainable properties. The guest of honor, Dr Sanjay Jaiswal, Member of Parliament, highlighted India’s success in achieving its renewable energy targets ahead of schedule. He emphasised the importance of a similar push for climate - resilient and sustainable real estate, by providing subsidies on 5-star appliances, greater investment for SMEs, and more information on life-cycle costing to accelerate this transition. The event saw active participation from Nordic missions, industry leaders, investors, and developers, who shared challenges and commitment to working for a smoother climate transition in real estate. Together, we are building momentum towards a future where green real estate is a cornerstone of India’s sustainable growth. #greeninfrastructure #climatetransition Markus Lundgren l Biba Jasmine l IFC - International Finance Corporation l Embassy of Denmark in India l ECOLOO Group l IMAD AGI l Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi l Sweden in Mumbai l urbs | Urban Systems
