They discussed key growth drivers and emerging trends, emphasizing collaboration prospects for Italian companies in sectors such as aerospace, defense, electronics, electrical, and home appliances. They also shared updates on TAGMA’s initiatives and promoted the upcoming Die Mould India exhibition. The event, organized by UCIMU and attended by AMAPlast Association members and Italian industry leaders, showcased India’s progress in industrial growth and infrastructure over the last decade. The Italian companies expressed optimism about India's potential as a global manufacturing hub, citing its skilled workforce and evolving technology landscape. The session reaffirmed the strengthening ties between Italian and Indian manufacturing sectors, setting the stage for future partnerships and growth. Nice to be attending the BIMU exhibition in Milan, Italy after almost 10 years. On the first day of the event, I had the opportunity to present to a group of Sr executives from Italian machine tool companies about the exciting opportunities in the Indian tooling Industry. During the presentation, I discussed the key factors driving growth in the Indian tooling industry, the latest trends we’re seeing, and the many opportunities for Italian machine tool companies to partner with India. I also discussed about how the sectors like aerospace, defence, electronics, electrical, home appliances, etc are going to play a huge role in growth of Indian tooling industry. I also shared updates about TAGMA’s initiatives and highlighted the upcoming Die Mould India exhibition. The event was organized by UCIMU and attended by representatives of the AMAPlast Association and senior executives from leading Italian companies. It was encouraging to see how impressed they were by the progress India has made in the last 5-10 years, especially in terms of industrial growth and infrastructure development. Many of the Italian companies I spoke with feel that India is well-positioned to become a global manufacturing hub, with its strong market potential, skilled workforce, and rapidly evolving technological landscape. They are optimistic about investing in the Indian market, recognizing the vast opportunities it presents in terms of collaboration and growth. It’s clear that the ties between Italy and India’s manufacturing sectors are only going to strengthen in the years to come.
