As #sustainability has become ‘license’ to conduct textile & apparel business, the importance of the sector has grown immensely. Therefore, Bharat Tex 2025 has introduced an exclusive pavilion for #Dyes & #Chemicals Sector. It will be hosted under the DyeChem World® banner from 12-15 February 2025 at IEML, Greater Noida. The company added Modern Home Textiles, Inc. to its kitty in a strategic move to widen the portfolio in Utility Bedding segment. Modern Home Textiles, is manufacturer of wide range of pillows and other Utility Bedding products based in Phoenix, Arizona with an annual capacity to produce 8 million pillows. Earlier in September, Indo Count acquired majority stake in FLUVITEX USA, Inc., a #pillow and #quilt manufacturing company based in Columbus, Ohio which has the capacity to produce 5 million pillows and 1.5 million quilts. This back-to-back acquisitions would help Indo Count to establish itself as an integrated utility bedding supplier across the North American Market. The acquisition was made through its U.S. based wholly owned subsidiary Indo Count Global, Inc. The value of the acquisitions was disclosed and expected to add US$ 85 million plus in revenue at full capacity utilization. Bharat Tex 2025 – Roadshow organized at Le Meridien Hotel, Coimbatore today in presence of Smt. Rachna Shah, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, senior officials from Govt. of Tamil Nadu and leading stakeholders from the Industry. Bharat Tex 2025 is being organized by a consortium of Indian Textile Export Promotion Councils and supported by the Ministry of Textiles, GOI. Birendranath Bandyopadhyay, a seasoned technocrat and business leader has joined the team of Orbit Exports Ltd as Executive Director. Orbit is a stock exchange listed leading Home Textiles and Fashion Fabrics manufacturer and exporter from India. Birendranath brings along rich functional experience of entire textile manufacturing chain including product development, quality management. He also has hands on experience on technical textiles manufacturing and management of the business. Prior to joining Orbit Exports, he served Kusumgar Corporates as President. Birendranath has served organizations like PT. Indorama Synthetics Tbk and J.C.T. Ltd. in senior positions during his long career. He holds a Master Degree from IIT, Delhi in Textile Science and Engineering and a Bachelor Degree in Technology from University of Calcutta.
