The Hans Foundation is working in collaboration with ROADIS to bring healthcare services to remote areas in Varanasi through our Mobile Medical Units. The initiative offers comprehensive diagnostic tests and free medications, making healthcare accessible to underserved communities. Ramakant, a resident of a village in district Varanasi, is one of the thousands whose healthcare experience has been transformed by the MMU program. Struggling with knee pain, he was unable to travel to distant health centers for any treatment. Now, with the MMU, he receives the care he needs close to home, allowing him to manage both his knee pain and his diabetes more effectively. The service has not only improved Ramakant’s health but also significantly impacted the lives of many others in his village who once faced barriers to essential medical services. The Varanasi MMU program provides OPD services to more than 50,000 patients every year, across 88 villages in four blocks of the district. As THF celebrates 15 years of making an impact in lives across India, we invite all to join us in our quest to make a difference. We express our sincere gratitude to Ena Chakravorty - Communications Director, ROADIS, for her invaluable assistance and support for this initiative.  . . . #THF15YearsStrong #communityservice #publichealth  #RemoteHealthServices #AccessibleHealthcare #HealthEquity    #CommunityWellness #HealthcareForAll #HealthAccess #EmpoweringCommunities
