THINK Gas conducted a Utility Coordination Meet under its "Dial before you Dig" campaign initiative to create awareness amongst utility agencies working in and around Begusarai. Mr. Satendra Kumar Singh, Municipal Commissioner and Mr. Rajeev Kumar, SDM, Begusarai, addressed the representatives of the utility agencies and stressed on the importance of informing THINK Gas before starting any digging activities in the region to avoid any damage to the laid gas pipeline infrastructure. THINK Gas successfully completed a Level -3 Mock drill at Laltton Village in Ludhiana and at its CGS in Garle, Jalandhar this month. Different simulation scenarios depicting major fire resulting from a gas leak caused during an excavation by a THIRD party on its charged pipeline and gas leakage from HCV fill point were created. Swift responses were undertaken, with the EIC promptly notifying to SIC, CIC & control room while the onsite personnels-initiated rescue operations to relocate individuals to a secure place away from danger zone. THINK Gas organized an awareness session under the "Dial before you Dig" initiative at the SSP office in Moga, Ludhiana. The initiative aimed at creating #awareness around the presence of underground laid #gaspipelines and the dangers associated with #uninformed #excavations around them. The Dial before you Dig campaign also underscores the importance of safety and vigilance to prevent potential #hazards and ensure the #wellbeing of the local populace. THINK Gas sought support from the police department and local authorities to help carry this initiative in our markets. The session was conducted under the able #guidance of Shri Vivek S. Soni (IPS), SSP Moga and in presence of Shri Gursharanjit Singh (PPS), SP Moga.

THINK Gas has signed agreements with GAIL (India) Limited, Reliance Chemicals and Materials Ltd., and the Sandhu Group to source Compressed Bio-Gas (#CBG) for its City Gas Distribution (#CGD) network in Jalandhar GA, Ludhiana GA, and Kangra-Chamba GA, as part of the CBG-CGD synchronization scheme. This significant development allows THINK Gas to expand its portfolio in the clean energy segment while contributing to the government's vision of creating a CBG #ecosystem. This initiative will soon support both the #CNG and domestic #PNG segments. THINK Gas successfully orchestrated a Level-3 Mock Drill at its City Gate Station in Bali, Baghpat GA. The simulated scenario depicted a major fire resulting from gas and odorant leakage in the process area at the CGS. In response, swift actions were taken, with the station in-charge promptly notifying the Regional Head while onsite personnel, initiated rescue operations to relocate individuals to a secure area away from the danger zone. THINK Gas team acted promptly by liaising with the Control Room, Health, Safety, Sustainability & Environment (HSSE) department, and mutual aid partners, including the DM office, NDRF, Fire Department, Chief Medical Officer (District Hospital) and the IOCL team. Post-drill, a formal debriefing session was conducted to analyze the best practices, insights gained, and lessons learnt. THINK Gas celebrated #Diversity & #Inclusion by bringing together all #womenemployees and the senior #leadershipteam. The day saw insightful sessions from Dr. Shubhra Gupta, Apollo Spectra Hospitals, who led a vital session on Women's Health and Jagdeep Rai, Managing Director, HSBC, who emphasized the significance of 'Social Currency' and 'Performance Currency' in the workplace. Thought-provoking videos focusing on the importance of women supporting each other in the #workplace and letting go of unconscious #biases, were also shared which sparked interesting #conversations amongst the attendees. The day was packed with fun, #managementgames and a #culturalfiesta with some impromptu performances too. The senior leadership team actively participated addressing crucial workplace dynamics & their commitment towards fostering an #inclusive and #supportive #workplace.

THINK Gas co-hosted the 2nd Edition of "Gyanaanubhav Prawaah Sahayaatraa" (GPS) along with the NATURAL GAS SOCIETY (NGS). A unique initiative by the NGS, GPS is a knowledge, experience and best practices sharing platform amongst the industry members. Based on the premise of experiential learning, this initiative also includes organizing physical day visits to the facilities and installations of its member organizations. THINK Gas showcased and shared the best practices in LNG storage & dispensing at this edition. A day visit was also organized for all the delegates to its first-of-its-kind LNG facility at the Bagroda Industrial Area in Bhopal. The event was led by D V Shastry, ED, Natural Gas Society, who welcomed the chief guest Smita Bharadwaj IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection, Government of Madhya Pradesh; Vipin Chandra Chittoda, Sr. Consultant, Natural Gas Society; Sandeep Trehan, COO, THINK Gas & Pradeep Bhatt, SVP THINK Gas. Smt. Smita Bharadwaj IAS, said that the government machinery fully supports the development of natural gas ecosystem and emphasized on increased usage of natural gas, deployment of better technologies to reduce methane loss, and creating a robust carbon credit mechanism. Speaking on gender diversity and inclusion, she also emphasized on improving employment and participation of women in the industry. At the event, THINK Gas felicitated Shri Chanchalesh Girhare, Transport Manager, Bhopal Municipal Corporation, who shared his experience of implementing natural gas ecosystem along with THINK Gas in Bhopal and shared how the authority had benefitted in savings by opting for CNG buses in the city. THINK Gas also felicitated Shri Sunil Namdeo, an auto driver, household customers Ms. Deepali Pawar (resident of Aashima Royal City) & Mr. Umang Chand Jain (resident of Priyadarshani Paramount) for being the early adopters and being the agents of change in the city.
