We just qualified our hydrostatic test facility at 290 Bar!!!! We also conducted multiple hydrostatic tests to qualify our Injectors and supporting pieces of equipment. These tests are extremely important especially when working with new manufacturing technologies in additive and subtractive manufacturing to establish the safety of our design. These tests have also helped us qualify our fittings as well as seals. We understood the challenges of dealing with compressible fluid in the feed system primarily of incompressible fluids. Over the next month, we will be building new testing infrastructure both in cold flow tests as well as hot flow tests.

Journey to Innovation: 🚀 Vinith Shenoy attended the International Spacetech Startup Support 2024 event in Bangalore. The day began with a networking lunch and opening remarks by Mr. Shaji Varghese, CEO of SINE- Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship -SINE IIT Bombay who outlined the TACC+ accelerating program. Insights from Dr. Sheshagiri Rao, former distinguished scientist at ISRO and Dr. Chin-Tsan Wang, former Director of the Science & Technology Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, highlighted the collaborative potential between India and Taiwan in spacetech R&D. Dr. Wang detailed Taiwan's focus on various spacetech sectors, announcing a one-month acceleration program for the top three startups. Dr. Jerry Lin from ITRI provided crucial dates for registration and the selection process. During the pitching session, Shinde confidently presented her startup's vision and received positive feedback from Dr. Rao, emphasizing engine clustering and reusability as key future advancements in spacetech. The event concluded with an exchange of business cards and valuable guidance from the organizing team, including insights from Omkar, the IIT-B SINE event organizer. Despite a crowded metro ride and a near-missed bus back to Pune, the event was well-organized and offered exceptional guidance and networking opportunities, making it a highly productive and rewarding experience.

Exploring New Horizons: 🚀 Connecting with Japanese aerospace leaders at the India-Japan Space Industry Day was an invaluable experience for Kalyani Shinde . Engaging with a multitude of Japanese companies not only provided insight into the Japanese aerospace market but also unearthed potential collaborative opportunities. A special mention goes to her enlightening conversation with Dr. Watanabe, the Japanese Cabinet Head, which further solidified her commitment to fostering international partnerships in the space sector. The India-Japan Space Industry Day, organized by IN-SPACe in Ahmedabad, saw active participation from both countries' industries. The Japanese delegation, led by the DG for International Co-operation from the Cabinet Office, included private companies and JAXA, with about 15 companies attending. On the Indian side, around 52 NGEs, including startups, engaged with the delegation. Presentations by 10 companies from each country and welcome remarks by Dr. Pawan Goenka and Mr. Atsushi Watanabe highlighted the event. It aimed to strengthen collaboration between India and Japan in the space industry, marking the 4th event in the series of IN-SPACe Space Days.
