We are delighted to have advised Baring Private Equity Partners India AIF 2 (Baring) on its investment in Nivara Home Finance Limited (Nivara). Baring, an existing investor, has invested INR 500 million in Nivara’s Series B fundraising round, which raised a total of INR 2,450 million. Nivara, a housing finance company, is focused on providing affordable housing solutions to micro-entrepreneurs and salaried customers. The fundraising round also saw participation from Nivara’s promoters and True North Private Equity. We are delighted to have advised Right Tight Fasteners (RTF) and its promoters on selling a controlling stake in RTF to Fontana Gruppo. In one of the largest FDI deals in the Indian auto components sector, Fontana has invested approximately INR 1,000 crores in RTF through a combination of a primary and secondary. RTF is also acquiring Fontana’s existing Indian operations and will become one of the largest manufacturers of fasteners in India.
