How often do you come across someone developing something that performs better in reality than in simulations?? If you're reading this post, then you increase that counter by 1 😃 Thermal Management in electric motors is an area where the best of the best are still struggling. We know proper thermal management prevents overheating and enhances performance and longevity. But matching the simulated figures, in reality, is a nightmare that hardly gets any better. But the universe surprised us with staggering test results for our motor. Tritium's 170-1R is designed to produce 6-7kW in the air-cooled configuration. That's a splendid splash! Having a hero product in your company is worthless until the product makes a heroic impact in people's lives in some or the other ways. Tritium Motors' quest to make India's diverse marine market efficient and green is a step in the path of achieving that Heroism. It's basically a motor that is compact, power-dense, more efficient, cheaper than more than 85% of the options in the market and eradicates the import needs/costs. A brand new feather in Tritium's hat of achievements! 🏆 Tritium Motors' 170-1R platform was recently successfully tested and implemented on a marine vehicle in Maharashtra. This project is a dear one for us as Eltech E-Propulsion put their faith in us long ago. Delivering an outstanding solution to them has been an honourable moment for us. It was a testament to Tritium's technological prowess and development capabilities that a 20-25 person capacity boat was powered by our 170-1R motor with mere air cooling successfully. Exceeding our expectations in every regard, this motor has been a great journey for us. Marine EVs have been our area of interest since our inception. Now with 3 valued clients in this space, Tritium Motors is now ascending. We're thrilled to share 2 more marine applications in our pipeline with you soon. Thank you! Tritium Motors' first public appearance! It indeed was great 😀 . We were fortunate to be able to participate in the Startup Mahakumbh 2024 event held in Delhi. It was a great experience to get our signature motor out for everyone to see and witness their reactions when we shared the specs with them. The usual responses that we got were: - Wow, this small motor can do that much!! 😮 - That's an incredibly lightweight motor. Are you sure it power anything? ( 😆 ) - You're bluffing, this motor can't do all that you're claiming. Though the reactions were simply fueled by curiosity and awe, we fully intend to showcase our motors' beast of performance specs real soon. I want to thank everyone who visited our booth. It was a delight meeting everyone, knowing their visions and having a peek into the future of India.
