Job Description: Job Title: Clinic Receptionist Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Clinic Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will provide exceptional customer service, manage front desk operations, and ensure a smooth patient experience. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for healthcare, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: 1. Patient Check-in and Check-out: - Greet patients, verify demographics, and update records. - Manage patient flow, reduce wait times, and communicate delays. 2. Scheduling: - Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries. - Coordinate with providers, nurses, and other staff members. 3. Communication: - Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and address patient inquiries. - Communicate with providers, staff, and external parties. 4. Data Entry and Records Management: - Accurately enter patient information, appointments, and payments. - Maintain up-to-date patient records, files, and databases. 5. Payment Processing: - Handle patient payments, copays, and insurance claims. - Reconcile daily payments and prepare deposits. 6. Administrative Tasks: - Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment. - Perform other administrative duties as needed. 7. Confidentiality and Compliance: - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. - Follow clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Requirements: - Graduation or equivalent required. - 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or reception setting. - Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks. - Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems (PMS). - Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email. - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (if applicable).
