Ltd. who delivered an insightful guest lecture to the students of ECE and Mechanical Engineering at Vignan University. Mr. Joshi shared valuable insights into Digital Circuits, IoT, and highlighted Industry Expectations and Opportunities at Daikin for our budding engineers. His session inspired our students to align their skills with the evolving demands of the industry. During the event, our Hon'ble Chairman and Vice Chancellor Sir also expressed keen interest in setting up a Daikin Centre of Excellence at Vignan University. Mr. Hari Prasad T - HR, Amara Raja Batteries (Karakambadi Plant) At Amara Raja Electronics, we gained insights into their state-of-the-art Automatic PCB Assembling Line and SMT and PHT technologies for PCB assembly. Observing the inverter assembly and 2kW & 3kW battery assembly and testing processes provided valuable exposure to the sophisticated production workflows and standards in electronics manufacturing. The Vignan Technology Business Incubator team, Dr Vijayaramu PI and Sandeep, CEO had the incredible opportunity to attend this year's annual conference hosted by the Indian STEPs & Business Incubators Association (ISBA) at T-HUB Foundation and AIC-CCMB in Hyderabad. With over 250 delegates from 150+ incubators across the globe, the event showcased the vibrant startup ecosystem of India and abroad. We delved into key topics such as sustainability in incubation, deep tech innovation, and building stronger connections between incubators and industry. A key highlight of the event was the presence of Sri KT Rama Rao, former IT Minister, Government of Telangana, who attended as Chief Guest. Vignan University's Mr. Prasad Panda, Director Industry Relations Awarded Third Prize at Drone Hackathon Competition Vijayawada, 22 October 2024: In a prestigious event at the Drone Hackathon Competition, Mr. Prasad Panda, Director of Industry Relations at Vignan's University, was awarded the Third Prize, along with a cash prize of INR 50,000. The award was presented by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu, and Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu garu, Hon'ble Union Minister of Civil Aviation, in a prestigious ceremony. Mr. Prasad Panda earned this recognition for his innovative solution to the problem statement: How can drones be leveraged for urban planning and infrastructure monitoring? His project proposed a highly effective approach to using drones for public infrastructure management and urban development. Working with an expert team from Vignan University and SEC Industries Private Limited - India, Mr. Prasad Panda's solution focused on designing drone-based inspection systems for electrical lines, gas pipelines, and other essential utilities, aiming to prevent breakdowns or accidents. These drones would routinely monitor critical infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficient urban planning. Additionally, Mr. Prasad Panda's project explored the use of drones to monitor traffic patterns in cities, enabling authorities to identify areas in need of road maintenance or new infrastructure. This proactive approach can lead to more efficient urban development, reduced traffic congestion, and better allocation of resources. Looking ahead, Mr. Prasad Panda expressed his enthusiasm for further collaboration opportunities with the Andhra Pradesh Government to expand the use of drone technology in various sectors, ensuring a safer and more connected future. His project, backed by the expertise from Vignan University and SEC Industries, opens the door to new innovations in infrastructure monitoring and urban planning, strengthening the state’s commitment to technological advancement.
