#InternationalDayofCoffee ☕ (October 1st) might be a celebration for many, but for tribal farmers in Andhra Pradesh's North Coastal Districts, it's a reminder of the challenges they face. Coffee and pepper are their lifeblood, with nearly 70% of families in Alluri Sitharama Raju district (Andhra Pradesh) relying on these crops. However, the lack of efficient coffee pulping machines forces them to sell their coffee cherries at throwaway prices. This informative video sheds light on their struggles and offers a beacon of hope. FarmEasy, the technical team of WASSANIndia, has developed an innovative electric conversion kit for coffee pulping machines. Witness Dr. ML. Sanyasi Rao demonstrates the Baby Coffee Pulper equipped with this ingenious solution, and gain valuable insights from Mr. Goutham on coffee pulping. This advancement has the potential to empower these tribal farmers. With easier processing, they will be able to retain more control over their harvest and command fairer prices. Rural Media filmed and produced the video, and it is available on their YouTube channel: https://lnkd.in/gyxK2s5C Let's support these communities and celebrate the true spirit of International Coffee Day by helping them thrive!
