🌊 🌴 #Kerala is facing significant challenges in #wastewater management, leading to #pollution and health risks. Improperly designed or poorly maintained leach pits or septic tanks can #contaminate #groundwater. To address these challenges, over 50 engineers from the Greater Cochin Development Authority and Cochin Corporation were oriented on Used Water Management (#UWM) and Solid Waste Management (#SWM) in collaboration with Suchitwa Mission at #Ernakulam, #Kerala. 🚰 As #sewage and faecal sludge management are important, we must also prioritize greywater management (#GWM)to safeguard our #environment.
