AWS Solution Architect Senior Consultant, Cloud Platform Engineer Indicative years of total experience 20+ years of overall 8-10 exp in Role Description:
The role is part of the global Cloud Platform Engineering product team, which is responsible for designing and developing solutions necessary for cloud adoption and automation. E.g.: build libraries, patterns, standards, governance and deploy everything via code (IaC). This role requiresstrong hands-on experience of AWS components and service with development mind sets and strong background of coding, CI/CD, SDLC & Agile concepts, and best practices. Role requires strong coloboration with teams and stakeholders across the globe. Skills Required: -
• Strong knowledge & hands-on preferably on AWS components and services
• Strong coding experience preferably in AWS CDK with Python/Typescript and Terraform in a DevSecOps model Key Responsibilities:
• Design / Plan o Understand and contribute to Principal’s Cloud Architectural vision, roadmap, governance processes and cloud specific guardrails o Perform Proof of Concepts to validate designs, and prepare solutions to meet requirements o Participate in team’s work planning and task/story/epic prioritization o Focus on security and compliance in all solutions
• Build o Participate in cross functional cloud projects & initiatives o Codify all solutions for consumption by Application Engineers as a part of DevOps solutions o Implement once and provide SOP’s for standard repeatable
• Operate o Support and manage multiple AWS Accounts
• Enhance o Recommend changes to improve Cloud platform standards and guardrails
• Lead o Provide deep technical leadership on AWS services to a team providing broad range of cloud implementations o Participate in knowledge sharing, documentation, design drawings and product demos in global forums
