What’s the scope of this role?

Role Summary:

The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to meet the needs of telecommunications and service provider clients. This includes working closely with clients to understand business requirements, translating these into technical solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and integration within hybrid IT environments.

Cloud Architect Profile:

General Skills:

• Good understanding of the architectural principles behind distributed information systems and solution integrations;
• Architectural patterns (Monolith, Service-oriented architecture, Domain Driven Design), including their pros and cons;
• Algorithms and data structures;
• Key software development principles (SOLID, KISS, DRY, ...);
• Design patterns for cloud applications, principles of building microservice applications, EDA, CQRS, Event Sourcing, distributed systems and integration of enterprise applications (API design: REST, JSON);
• Understanding of virtualization principles;
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in the Architect role;
• 2+ years of experience with microservice architecture;
• Practical skills in data integration projects, systems integration;
• OOP principles application, functional programming;
• Relational and NoSQL databases, performance optimization and scalability in a cloud environment;
• Queue and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka);
• Dealing with infrastructure such as Openshift and k8s;
• Must be fluent with UML, BPMN.
