Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Utilities Domain Consultant at iGreenTree.Ai in Noida. The Utilities Domain Consultant will be responsible for daily tasks related to leveraging technology to redefine possibilities in the energy sector. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, analyze data, and provide innovative solutions to optimize grid operations and create new business models for energy providers.
8-10 years in Utilities: Specializing in the distribution and retail value chain.
Functional Expertise: Deep knowledge of customer experience, metering, billing, and behind-the-meter services, including DER management, EVSEs, energy storage, and microgrids.
Utility Applications Proficiency: Hands-on experience with applications like Distributed Energy Resource Management (DERMS), Active Network Management (ANM), eMobility, Demand Resource Management (DRMS), Meter Data Management (MDMS), and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
Technical Leadership: Proven track record as a Tech Lead, managing requirements gathering, solution design, customer and stakeholder management, delivery across various phases, and platform support/managed services.
Agile/Scrum Experience: Solid background in Agile/Scrum development projects.
Project Management Tools: Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools.
Cloud Expertise: Experience with MS Azure cloud services is a strong advantage.
Team Collaboration: Self-motivated and effective both independently and as part of a team.
Communication Skills: Strong communicator with both internal teams and external business stakeholders.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of the Energy & Utilities value chain is crucial.
Business Analysis: Proficient in conducting workshops for requirement gathering, scope validation, and solution design.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills for managing internal and external stakeholders, including third-party providers.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication: Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration and clear solution presentation.
Teamwork: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Other Requirements:
Flexible for business travel for short/med/long term basis.
Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.
